1. How do I book an appointment with a doctor on ZappQ?

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Platform, which includes the website, mobile applications, and any related services provided by ZappQ. By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions, including the Privacy Policy.

2. Definitions

  • Platform :
    The ZappQ website and mobile application, through which healthcare services are provided.
  • User :
    Any person or entity accessing or using the Platform, including both End-Users and Practitioners.
  • End-User :
    A person seeking medical consultation through the Platform (i.e., patients).
  • Practitioner :
    A healthcare provider such as a doctor, clinic, hospital, or healthcare facility, listed on the Platform.
  • Services :
    Any medical or healthcare services offered through the Platform, including consultation, appointment booking, prescription management, etc.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age or older to access and use the Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details, including your username and password. If you suspect unauthorized access or use of your account, you must immediately notify ZappQ.

5. Services Provided by ZappQ

5.1 Healthcare

ZappQ provides a platform for patients to consult with healthcare professionals. You can book consultations with doctors, specialists, and other medical practitioners through the Platform, either in person or via telemedicine (video call, phone call, etc.). ZappQ does not provide medical services directly and is not responsible for any medical diagnosis or treatment provided by Practitioners.

5.2 Appointment Booking

Users can search for Practitioners based on their specialty, location, and availability. Once a Practitioner is selected, Users can book an appointment through the Platform. Practitioners are required to confirm or deny the appointment based on their availability.

5.3 Payment for Services

End-Users will be required to pay for medical consultations at the time of booking or during the consultation. Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, net banking, or other supported methods as outlined on the Platform.

6. Responsibilities of the Users

6.1 End-Users (Patients)

  • You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information during the registration process and when booking consultations.
  • You are responsible for following any advice, instructions, or treatment plans provided by the Practitioner.
  • You will attend the consultation on time and notify the Practitioner in case of cancellations or delays.

6.2 Practitioners

  • You agree to provide accurate information regarding your qualifications, experience, and availability.
  • You are solely responsible for the medical services provided to the patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and prescriptions. ZappQ is not liable for any medical malpractice or negligence on the part of Practitioners.
  • You agree to respond to appointment requests in a timely manner and provide consultations as per the agreed terms.

7. Platform Usage and Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or interfere with the functioning of the Platform.
  • Post, transmit, or distribute any content that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or overburden the Platform.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content available on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and other materials, is the property of ZappQ or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

ZappQ respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. The use of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, store, and protect your data.

10. Fees, Cancellations, and Refunds

10.1 Fees

ZappQ does not charge any additional fees for using the Platform to book consultations. However, Practitioners may charge for their services. These fees are disclosed before booking.

10.2 Cancellations

You can cancel your appointment with the Practitioner through the Platform. Practitioners may have their own cancellation policies, which will be disclosed when booking the appointment.

10.3 Refunds

If the Practitioner cancels the appointment or fails to attend the consultation, a refund will be issued to the User. Refunds for no-show appointments may be handled at the Practitioner's discretion.

11. Limitation of Liability

ZappQ does not provide medical advice or services directly. We are not responsible for the quality of the healthcare services provided by Practitioners or any damages arising from the use of the Platform.

12. Termination

ZappQ reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Platform if you violate any terms of this Agreement or if we believe you are engaging in activities that are harmful to the integrity of the Platform.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [Your Country]. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be resolved through arbitration under the rules of [Arbitration Organization].

14. Amendments
